How ordering works
Short version: a flat deposit places the order and holds your stock, and the balance is settled when you take delivery.
Deposits & balances
Every order is placed with a flat $50 deposit, regardless of how many items or pallets are on it. The deposit is applied to your total, it is not a fee.
The moment the deposit clears, your quantities come out of live inventory and are held for you. The remaining balance is collected on delivery or pickup. If an order total is under the deposit amount, you simply pay the order total.
Pallet orders
Most lines carry a pallet price that applies automatically once your quantity reaches a full pallet, you do not need to ask for it or enter a code. The pallet quantity and the per-unit pallet price are shown on each product. Mixed pallets are handled case by case; put a note on your order and we will work it out.
Freight
Teepees nest inside one another, so a pallet moves far more of them than the crate size suggests. Pens ship knocked down flat. Freight is quoted separately once we know the destination and the pallet count, we contact you after the deposit to arrange it, and nothing ships until you have agreed the freight cost.
Cancellations & changes
Cancelling a placed order carries a $25 restocking fee, deducted from your deposit. The remainder is returned to the original payment method, and the stock goes straight back into inventory.
Changing quantities before the order ships is not a problem, and we won't charge for increasing the quantity of an order. Simply reply to your confirmation email with the order number and make the change. Donton will surely take care of it!
